Dining Out in Guangzhou, China

12 03 2017

I took the bus back from Kaiping to Guangzhou on a two-hour journey after spending my Sunday exploring the “Kaiping Diaolou and Villages” area.

By the time I got to the subway station near my hotel, it was around 8:30 pm.  Didn’t want anything fancy but obviously wanted to try some more Chinese food before returning home the next day.  Tried the shopping mall above the station and found a Hong Kong Chinese chain restaurant that looked friendly enough for a solo diner.

The pork-chicken-duck combo dish was way too big for one but with steamed rice, I almost ate the whole thing (not quite).
