Music! and Movies! in the Month of May, 2015

The first week of May I was still in Dublin, Ireland, on my Golden Week vacation, when my favorite group happened to be playing in town.

Only two days into the month, May was already great…  The rest of the musical activities of the month below.

As for movies, there was no movie I didn’t like and it kept getting better with my favorite for the month, The Lives of Others, coming at the very end.

One Last Pint in Dublin

On the day I was leaving Dublin, Ireland, I made one last stop at a hotel bar.

Thought of getting one last proper pint of Guinness but noticed that the bar carried a “craft beer” on tap.  During my visit, I saw many signs for craft beers everywhere.  Seems to be a world trend.

Christ Church Cathedral is the cathedral that was right outside of our apartment window in Dublin which I finally visited on the last day of my stay in the Irish capitol.

Irish Whiskey Time

My friend Janis from New York who happened to be visiting Ireland at the same time as me took me, after a very satisfying modern Irish dinner together, to have my first (and the only) glass of Irish whiskey in Dublin.

Going to the hotel bar. Drinking at school sounds just about right.
