Not a lot going on but a good mix of live performances in both international and domestic music, music documentary films, a musical, and a very good band story film from Ireland.

Here is the trailer for the David Bowie film which does not really do justice to the film which I thought was more interesting than the trailer seems to suggest.

A Belated Post About Music, Sushi, Soft Serves and Nails in the Month of December, 2015

The musical activities.

One sushi night at my fave sushi joint.

A couple of soft serves to satisfy my addiction.

And nails for the holiday season.

Movies! in the Month of June, 2015

1 07 2015

New, old, serious, some funny, two Liam Neeson action films, and more.  I associate Liam Neeson with a TV mini-series A Woman of Substance which I enthusiastically used to watch with my mother years ago although it appears that he only appeared in three episodes.  Old impressions die hard.

Here is the whole list of what I went to see in theatres this past month, in chronological order.

It’s difficult to say which was my favorite.  I tend to like human-interest stories and Two Days, One Night and Still Alice I thought were great, but The Cobbler was a surprise hit with me with an unexpected outcome and I generally do not like films involving supernatural powers.
