Breakfast 2 in George Town, Penang

24 01 2017

I set out of my hotel one morning during my short stay in George Town, Penang, Malaysia to get breakfast here only to find out that the food court was not open for breakfast.

I decided to just walk down the street and see what was available.  I soon came across this eatery.

It seemed perfect as what I was looking for was some “char koay teow” and the place looked nice and busy with locals.

The drink menu

My char kway teow. Nice.

Cold nutmeg water which I regretted ordering as soon as it was placed in front of me because it had lots of crushed ice and I wasn't sure about ice being safe. It turned out to be fine (which you only learn afterwards). The drink tasted great.
