To Market! in George Town, Penang, Part 1

3 01 2017

It’s always exciting to visit a market anywhere in the world and one of the main wet markets in George Town, Penang, Malaysia was no exception but I was a bit puzzled about the only part-filled stalls.

So much closed area?

From the pix, it may not feel as though there is anything wrong but it felt funny.  A market that’s quiet and not busy with people is a bit worrying.  Was I there too late?  It was nine-tenish in the morning and not really that late judging from how busy shops around the market were.  Hmmm
