I was not aware that there was an observation deck in the center of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Seeing a city from above gives you a good image and sometimes a different view of how things are laid out and is always interesting.
So given the great weather on my last day, decided to pay a visit upstairs.

The building is essentially an office building with a receptionist at the entrance who tells you to take the last elevator in the hall to go up to the 16th floor.
The 360-degree view is quite impressive.
The above pix were taken on an iPhone and here are some more close-up views of what’s around.

The Museum of Arts and Crafts, the one museum I really wanted to go to but did not have the chance, with the Mimara Museum behind it.
Wine time after being on the balcony. There was an entrance fee for the observation deck and a further charge for your drink. The place is used for parties and functions but when that is not happening, open to the public (tourists) but it is not really advertised (and perhaps pricey) so hardly anyone there. Fine by me.
