Lunching in Zagreb

3 05 2016

My first lunching experience in Zagreb, Croatia turned out to be satisfying as well as surprising.  Satisfying because the food and the service at the restaurant of my choice were outstanding and surprising because the place was packed at 3 pm with multiple tables of huge families dining together in what seemed like their Sunday best.

My objective was to try the "Zagreb schnitzel" but ended up having the house specialty, a schnitzel stuffed with spinach with parmesan sauce as was recommended. It was so good.

Also recommended was the side dish potato croquette which was interesting.
