I happened to stumble upon the Luang Prabang Library situated on the main street in central Luang Prabang. It looked very inviting and since I had time to kill before lunch, decided to check it out.
As I said, it looked very inviting.
As you can guess from the signs, it is more or less an English-language library with many books in English. The friendly staff spoke English and it was occupied by other English speaking visitors. I sat for about half an hour browsing through guide books on Laos reading mostly about eating out in Luang Prabang.
As I was leaving, I noticed this program and decided to participate.
