Movies! in the Month of January, 2016

4 02 2016

As mentioned in my previous post, saw two classic music films during January, but one of them I only saw half way through due to Blu-ray malfunction in the theater.  The other music film however turned out to be my favorite of the month.

But first off, this Icelandic film should get a mention for its display in the only theater in Tokyo it was being shown.  (And it was a cute, funny, and a sad movie.)

As for the rest…

My favorite of the month, a film from 1954, which I had never seen before despite having seen the orchestra perform every year in the recent years.
