Sunday Brunch in Nouméa, New Caledonia

We kind of knew that nothing was going to be open on a Sunday in New Caledonia but having seen coffee shops and restaurants serving breakfast near our hotel, I thought why not, shops in France in general do not open on Sundays but eateries are a different matter so…

I totally proved myself wrong.  After passing breakfasting at the “marché”, we walked around in the city center in search of breakfast but it wasn’t until walking for close to an hour did we find restaurants open for service.  They may have been catering for tourists, but that was actually great for us as we loved our breakfast.
