Two weeks in a row this month, I went out with two different groups of girls to eat in Ningyocho. While I don’t live too far from it, the older part of Tokyo is an unexplored neighborhood for me. The two French bistros we went to, Les Fourchettes, owned by a chef who used to cook at the Imperial Hotel and Chez André du Sacré Coeur, owned by a French lady whose parents used to own a café in Montmartre, were both lovely.
On a Friday night at Les Fourchettes
And a very early Saturday dinner at Chez André du Sacré Coeur at 5:30 pm as the restaurant closes at 8:30 pm.
