In the capital city of the Sultanate of Brunei, there is an area referred to as “Kampong Ayer” or the “water village”.

So going to Kampong Ayer could have been the most interesting thing to do in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei but because it had rained so hard just as I was leaving the Training Centre that I was very discouraged to ride a boat and visit an area surrounded by water.  So I scrapped the idea but now that I think about it, I should have gone…!!

The rain

The torrential rain that made me stay back.
