Arriving from Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam the previous night, I was curious about my first breakfast in Brunei in a very friendly residence-type hotel in the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan.
Starting with tropical fruits
Moving onto the more exotic dishes
What is in the above picture is this.
Very good but not all that spicy.
That was it for the first morning. It’s a lot of rice for one meal.

Describing the above but I did not find any cucumber slices!
Again, not spicy at all but quite good though I preferred Nasi Katok. And here is an article I came across on the signature dish.
