Long walks in hot temperature obviously make you tired and thirsty which was how I felt after walking the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam last Sunday for about three hours. So I decided to take refuge.

“Ayala” my favorite, partly becuz of the name.

I had to change seats because four loud guys entered and started smoking near me.
Feeling relieved, I walked some more to get to the riverside and somewhere high up so that I could observe the Saigon River from up above.

Liberty Central was it.

Seemed like a designer hotel.

Up on the 25th floor in the hotel’s rooftop bar.

Vietnamese beer it is this time as it was quite hot where I was sitting. No wind. Humid.

Another(?) river near the city as seen from way up above while coming into HCMC.
