Wow! What a surprise, so Western! This could be a city in Europe, somewhere…
After the Vietnamese noodle breakfast and noodle lunch in the market, you took me by surprise! But then again, maybe the waffles were leading to this??
Never seen those thin banana slices like a sheet, though.

This is what I like about Viet Nam, the mix of east and west though there is not much “east” as far as buildings go in HCMC – they’re plain concrete buildings most of the time – but the colonial buildings have been well maintained which is great.
