Soft-Served in August, 2015!

With a vacation week in the middle of the month, a short list of soft serves in August, 2015.

Brown sugar and kinako (roasted soy bean flour) flavored.

Vanilla with mango pieces and I cannot even remember where I had it.

Plain milk.

It looks loose and it was but not because it was hot. This is vanilla soft serve mixed with salt from Ishigaki, one of the islands in Okinawa.

The last one is from a satellite shop run by Okinawa Prefecture promoting its produce, all things made in Okinawa, culture, and tourism.  At any given time, they have up to ten or so soft-serve flavors which they make on the spot by mixing the ice cream with fruits and other ingredients after taking your order.
