Traveling in Sofia

20 08 2015

Sofia, Bulgaria is a rather small city and as such you are able to walk to most everywhere which I loved.

On my first day out I saw the tram and thought of taking it later.

But then I didn’t mostly because it looked too hot.  I would have tried it in a cooler climate.

And there was the subway which is not too extensive compared to what we are used to so I thought I would never feel the need but towards the end of my stay, I did ride it because of convenience.  Loved it.

Lights in stations are very art deco and beautiful.

Other means of transportation that I took: an organized tour to World Heritage sites and rides between the city and the airport.
