Lunching in Sofia #3

12 08 2015

Or more precisely “Lunch #2” as it was my second lunch in Sofia, Bulgaria.  The restaurant was on my list of “candidates” which came in handy when I discovered the restaurant I originally planned to visit was closed for the summer.

Restaurant Shtastliveca on the main shopping street Vitosha Boulevard turned out to be lovely.

Grilled lamb served on a hot plate with scallions, baby spinach, tomatoes, radish and lots of yoghurt sprinkled with dill.  Very tasty.

Buri-chan

Just from looking at the photos, I can feel the excitement of walking in. What a lovely space for lunch!

The service was friendly, too. I was asked if I wanted to be on the ground floor (which is what you are seeing) or upstairs which is just as nice but downstairs seemed to be more bright with a higher ceiling because of the atrium in the middle.
