The apartment we are in is attached to a hotel where a music hall in which the first performance of Handel‘s Messiah was held in 1742 used to be.
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant for the first morning. Note the theatre chairs.
I was going to do a sushi post but remembered that there was a notable non-sushi Japanese dining I did with a London-residing Australian guest this month so decided to expand.
But first the real-deal sushi.
And then an upscale izakaya dinner with the aforementioned Australian guest.
And an unagi lunch from last week.
And a sushi lunch from earlier today.
Finally a take-away “obento” lunch box that I bought at a “depachika” near my office in the morning and had at my desk for lunch. Always fun.
Though the month has not ended yet, I think I have had my share of soft-served ice creams for April, 2015.
Mikan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citrus_unshiu) flavored, Rather bitter but full of citrus flavor.
