The second night in Manila, Philippines, I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant although I knew it was more of a western, nothing local kind of place.
Welcoming.
That said, I asked for something that was most Filipino from its menu and was suggested “Ensaymada with foie gras pate”, “ensaymada” being a Filipino pastry. I went for it and it was great.

Looks nice enough.
Not a very pretty picture but it was amazing. I was a happy camper.
