A Japanese Breakfast

16 12 2014

Despite the extensive drinking the night before, I was up at 6:30 am ready for breakfast at the Dojima Hotel.

Was given a choice of Japanese or American breakfast.  With some hesitation I chose Japanese, a first perhaps, as I generally prefer western breakfast.

Kind of still dark.

Typical. Grilled salmon. Dashimaki (egg omelette made with dashi which is considered Kansai style), dried seeweed, plain steamed rice and miso soup

Came with other little dishes, a mixture of Japanese and Korean dishes

And coffee and juice and because I chose the Japanese breakfast, Japanese tea also

Enjoyed the egg but I’m not a fan of Japanese style grilled salmon…  Always too salty w/o exception.
