Lunching in Krakow #2

30 08 2014

It may appear that all I ever do when I’m travelling (or at home) is eat which is partly true but while my next topic after the last one would have been the Wawel Royal Castle, when I tried to visit the site one morning close to noon and joined a long line to purchase a ticket, I was allotted one for an entry at 2:25 pm.  So I figured I had to have lunch before that and looked for some place near and just happened to stumble upon this establishment serving wonderful Polish cuisine.

Candlelight by day and a rose and a linen napkin. Love it.

Local wine. A nice rosé.

Local wine. A nice rosé. Didn’t know Poland produced wines but apparently yes.

Poland is big on lard. Very good.

And they are big on fruit sauces. Grilled local ewe cheese with cranberry sauce.
