Soft-Served in Poland

16 08 2014

I was so surprised and happy at the same time that as soon as I arrived in Warsaw, Poland, I noticed many ice cream shops selling soft-serve ice cream cones.

The first one I saw in Warsaw near the main train station.

Many followed.

I tried one at a shop in the Old Town of Warsaw.

Um.  Disappointing…!!  It wasn’t what I imagined it would be.  It’s nowhere near what we have in Japan.  (I’m thinking I could make business out of bringing Japanese soft-served ice cream into Poland if people like it this much with this stuff.)

More from Warsaw.

And from Krakow where they seemed to come from “kebab” stands often times.
