Lauren Kinhan, a member of Grammy-winning vocal group extraordinaire New York Voices and a good friend of mine with prolific music writing skills, recently got her new solo record released from funding via Kickstarter. Though I have some reservations regarding crowd-funding, it is great to see that you have this option to try and see if it works for you.
As far as Lauren is concerned, she deserves it and I am very happy for her.
The above is what came in in the mail this weekend which is a score of all the songs on the new album Circle in a Square with some beautiful photos, following the arrival of an autographed CD sometime ago.
