Leaving on a Jet Plane

28 04 2014

It’s Golden Week!  Left Tokyo late Sunday evening from “the original” Tokyo International Airport, Haneda (Narita being the “New” Tokyo International Airport), which has increased the number of international flights in the last couple of months.  It’s a 24-hour airport and many flights typically leave very late in the evening.  My flight was at 0:10 am.  Years ago when we moved to the US, we flew out of it but it was my first time using it since it newly opened its doors to international travel (except that Taiwanese China Airlines had always had a terminal at Haneda so as to avoid any conflict with the mainland Chinese airline at Narita).

Arrived in Los Angeles early Sunday evening before I left.

Outside clear blue sky.

Outside clear blue sky.

And now waiting for my connecting red-eye flight to Boston.
