It was the most divine thing I had in Macau.

It's made from crushed "Marie" cookies resembling "sawdust".

Bought a box of fresh store-made cookies for my cousin back home.

Serradura, literally “sawdust” in Portuguese, is apparently a Macanese dessert.  The use of “Marie” cookies and condensed milk in the recipe somehow make it very Asian sounding to me.  There is not much explanation on it on the web except for recipes given in blogs by general people.  Here is one for reference.
