Tramming It in Tokyo: the Tokyu Setagaya Line

21 03 2014

There are two tram lines in Tokyo that are in operation.  Others that used to exist years ago have been taken over mostly by bus lines and I believe in some cases the subway.  I rode on one of them for the first time ever the other day going from the originating station Sangenjaya all the way to the terminating one, Shimotakaido, in about 17 minutes.  The car is modern but it does feel retro.
