Dining Out in Cannes 3

7 02 2014

We were out in the old section of Cannes, Le Suquet, having been invited to a dinner in one of the restaurants on rue St. Antoine, a steep street lined with restaurants, many of which are excellent, somewhat surprising considering that it could as well be a tourist trap.  But I guess that’s Cannes for you.  Most things are good and everyone’s friendly.

The food was great but service was excruciatingly slow and they forgot a lot of things for which our waiter was not very apologetic.  That annoyed and infuriated me so much more but we were the guests so I didn’t make that much of a fuss.  Grr.

That’s lavender potpourri the restaurant gave each one of us as a souvenir. Smells very nice.
