There are two kinds of satays in Malacca. If you follow this link and go down to “8. Satay Celup” and “10. Satays”, you will see what they are. The satays I had were the latter and I had fun visiting this satay shop.
The satay choices you have are: pork, intestine, liver, and chicken. I had two skewers of pork and one of each of the rest. Each skewer is RM .70 and the condiments come automatically so my total bill was RM 3.50 (a little more than US$1). The reddish sauce is peanut sauce which was great. The white thing I could not tell what it was and I cannot seem to find out. The small red onions are mild and tasty.
The restaurant is in a totally residential neighborhood.
