The Night Market on Jonker Walk, Malacca, Malaysia

It’s a weekend night market on the busiest street in Malacca, Malaysia.  It’s fun and vibrant but I also relate to the criticisms mentioned here.

In any event, I walked through it and had an amusing time doing so.

Now this was interesting.  You put a potato on this stick and boom, it got sliced in one piece.

The sign said this was Taiwanese but to me they look exactly like Japanese imagawayaki.  And apparently from the Wikipedia link, we have similar sweets.

And this I think is one of the popular Malaccan dishes, satay celup.
