Saturday Antique Market on “Kottodori”

I walk on this street named “Kottodori” literally meaning “antique street” in the Omotesando neighborhood of Tokyo almost everyday on my way to work but it is rare that I pass by it on foot (I would normally be driving by) on weekends.  However a couple of Saturdays ago, I had the occasion to walk the street and came across this market.

Didn’t know there was such a market.

Bought an "antique" Finnish plate from him.

This guy is from somewhere on the “other side” of Japan like Niigata or Ishikawa he told me but I forget exactly where. Bought an “antique” Finnish plate from him.

The guy's neighbour was a lady selling things of British origin including homemade pies and things.

What I bought from the guy: an old Arabia plate.

It was fine but a biiiiiit salty.
