Eating in Moscow: Pirozhki

20 05 2013

I wanted to make sure that I had the right restaurant to try the pirozhki and while I’m sure there are better home-made and like ones, I chose a restaurant that aptly described its cuisine for my pirozhki lunch.

I knew this from reading but the pirozhki in Russia was different from what we get in Japan which is mostly fried.  The other dish I had was sauteed giblets.  Very nice.

And they gave me an Easter egg as it was Easter Sunday for the Russian Orthodox Church.
