For me, drinking in Southeast Asia can be somewhat challenging (if I may be over-melodramatic). I know the best thing to have is the local beer given the climate, the food, pricing, etc. but I’m not much of a beer person and if possible, I would like my daily dose of the grape stuff wherever I am.
On my recent trip to Hue, Vietnam, I tried to stay with beer in general but allowed myself wine as a form of an aperitif on a couple of the days. The first two pix do not come from Hue exactly but are from on my way to the ancient city.
The Vietnamese style coffee with lots of sweet condensed milk is actually good and I like it!
