I have read that the above method by which the food is cooked is originally from Hokkaido.
Apart from a restaurant I went to in the early ’90s somewhere on the northern island and this more entertainment-oriented version of it in Roppongi, I don’t think I have ever been to a robatayaki joint. The other night my colleagues and I were looking for somewhere to dine near the Tokyo Midtown and ended up here.
