On the Edge of Shibuya and Daikanyama

They are two neighboring sections of the Shibuya Ward, but they cover a large area and the “edge” of both neighborhoods is kind of in the middle of nowhere, away from major public transportation and a slight drag to get to.

This little brasserie is in such neighborhood where you might think twice about booking but it turned out to be great including their special welcome feature (available for a limited time only) that entitles everyone in your party to a glass of sparkling, white, or red wine on the house if you get there by cab (you show your cab receipt).  It was the first Friday of September and still very hot and humid so I loved the idea.
