I often stop by “Natural Lawson“, a convenience store that carries more interesting merchandise than your regular “Lawson“, to pick up lunch. Think “Whole Foods Market” in a much smaller, convenience store situation. The one I go to is conveniently located inside a subway station where I transfer from one line to another.
Something I went for yesterday as part of my lunch.
A whole tomato in “jelly” – a flavored gelatin dessert.
Can’t quite tell if there really is a whole tomato in it.
And yes, there is!! Very good, too. The tomato itself is sweet and I wish they didn’t sweeten the jelly so much. I was hoping it was going to taste more like a slightly sweet salad than a dessert but there you go. It is quite nice actually.
