Honey Nuts

A friend I saw the week before last gave me this “Honey Nuts”.

The honey comes from Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan.

It’s the acacia honey variety with four kinds of nuts mixed in – walnut, hazelnut, almond, & pistachio.

How to eat, what to do…?!  I used to use a lot of honey on my salad, mixed together with extra virgin olive oil and balsamico, but these days by using better balsamico, I’m foregoing the honey, and that honey never came with nuts.  Spread on lightly toasted, thinly sliced French bread with blue cheese sounds quite divine to me right about now…
