Holiday Monday Cooking Time

This being a three-day weekend, I decided to do my cooking routine today, the holiday Monday, rather than on the Sunday since I didn’t go grocery shopping yesterday.

Was in the mood for something non-meaty and settled on oysters.

Supermarket-bought oysters but they are from Hiroshima, a city famous for its oysters.

"Caper oyster French style" is what the cookbook called it in English and in Japanese it was "Oysters a la Nicoise".

Oh yum. The dish came out better than I expected. Red wine and lots of bread would go perfectly with it.
