So today, January 7th, is the day we are supposed to take down all new year decorations and thought I would capture them before I did so of what few rather non-traditional, unorthodox kind of decorations I have put up.
What’s below is more traditional and tradition calls for them to be burned mid-January but I’m not sure if people follow that tradition nowadays. This pair of kadomatsu comes from where my parents live.
