Wine and Thai by the River

Had always wondered what the vibe was like at this pleasant-looking restaurant in Ebisu.  It looks busy on most nights from the outside.  Went in for the first time earlier this week.

Was surprised to find an extended Thai menu.  We saw a group of women working on a Thai-style shabu shabu at the next table and the pad Thai we had was very good.

The other great thing about the place was that they had a relatively large selection of wine for a Thai restaurant and that they served most of it in a half-carafe, offering even a nice dry rose that way which you do not see often in Tokyo.

The lady who waited on our table was the ever so attentive kind and she had the perfect timing with the pouring of my wine which is oh so important!
