Today was the closing date for handing in receipts in order to write off expenses @ work for the month of November. Fishing out a particular receipt, I remembered that there was a lunch meeting I did at the end of October at the Hotel Okura, my favorite hotel in Tokyo for its elegance and impeccable service.
The lobby is in no way grand but is a true representation of subtle Japanese beauty mixed with a modern feel of the present day although I don’t think they have changed anything in the lobby for years and years. I guess retro is synonymous with modern.
